How were you introduced to kpop?

I was really bored of listening to the same ‘american’ music so i asked my friend for some recommendations. she recently fell in love with dbsk so she recommended them to me. at first, i didn’t really think i would like music that i couldn’t understand, but nevertheless, i watched dbsk’s mirotic mv and h o l y s h i t i was hooked LOL
